Auralee couldn't help but smile softly as they continued on dancing. Though when he looked at her, that sad look on his face, she frowned a little bit. This wasn't good, she didn't want to make the prince sad from her misfortune. "Well...My master won't let me." She murmured quietly. "He says I'm not allowed to see the world, it's too beautiful for me to deserve to see it.." There was a feeling in her stomach, she was afraid. She didn't want her master to show up and then yank her away and punish her for speaking or something. That thought made her shiver, she didn't want that. Not tonight.

She bit her tongue a little bit, looking down. "People come up to me all the time and ask me what a computer is.. And when I answer that I don't know, they laugh.." That thought made her want to cry, she felt the tears gently stinging at her eyes, but she wasn't going to allow them to fall.

"I already hate your master. A beautiful young girl must see the world as it is. Then, when she marries, she can tell her husband about everything she's seen. You deserve someone who treats you better. Someone who treats you right. I'm sure you will find him. I know you will." He said with a slight smile, putting his fingers under her chin and lifting her head up a little. "Don't look down. Nobody can see your beauty then."

He was called a charmer by many women, and the most charming of all his brothers. "Also, crying is a good thing. It feels like it hurts alot, but it's a great thing. It's very stress reliving, and alot of people need it. Sp cry and make yourself feel better." He said with a smile. "And if you cry, I'm right here, and I will get you a tissue if you need." He loved helping people, and he had a feeling about her, so he would help her as much as he could.

Auralee hadn't looked up to Oliver yet as he spoke. She pressed her lips together, listening to him. She let his words sink into her mind. He was right. Auralee knew he was right with every word he said, but.. She wasn't sure how to make that a reality. She didn't think she was strong enough to break away from her master, when in reality she was much stronger than she believed to be, both mentally and physically. She felt his fingers under her chin and soon enough she was looking up at him, "Ah...!" She blushed deeply at his words.

Her breath was caught in her throat when he mentioned crying, "Ah...N-No.. I wasn't..." She was trying to show she wasn't going to cry but it was too obvious. Her voice had that shaky, upset tone to it. She shook her head a little, "I-I couldn't cry..Not in front of all of these people.."

"Nobodies watching you. I promise." In fact, everyone was looking at them, but he didn't want to say it, because he didn't want to make her nervous. He wanted to make her comfortable and feel welcome. Not afraid and nervous. And even upset. He looked down at her. It was quiet obvious that she was going to cry, but it was kind of cute, in a way, that she was shy and almost crying. Not that he enjoyed people crying. It made him sad, but on her, it was only a little cute. But it was the fact that she was shy that was flat out adorable.

"Your master seems like a terrible person." He thought for a minute. "Is that why you were just sitting there...all alone?" He asked, curious. It was horrible, to bring her here, and tell her she could have fun, like everyone else. It was just...horrible. He had never heard of anyone to vicious and now, he just had.

Auralee frowned a little bit as he spoke. She shook her head a little, "N-No.. I just...People are watching.. I wouldn't be able to.." She pressed her lips together, completely unable to get through even one sentence completely. She was just so nervous. She almost looked down a little bit once again. Auralee just felt too embarrassed, she was making herself look like an idiot.

She then looked to Oliver, pressing her lips together. She didn't say anything, though her eyes were screaming 'Yes.' She then nodded, "Yes..He likes to go on outings and take me out just to show his friends..I'm always left on the side."

Oliver frowned a little bit more then what he already had. "Thats so cruel. He just wants to show you off? What does he do when your not at outings and at home?" He brought her over to the refreshment table and got her a napkin just in case she cried. He sighed a little, thinking about an awful person her master must be. Then, that got him thinking.

"If your here with me...then where is your master? If he dancing, or something?" He wanted to see him. See what he looked like and if he was dancing with a girl, he wanted to see how he treated the girl. It wasn't right to treat a girl like Auralee the way he treated her. In fact, it wasn't right to treat any girl like that at all.

Auralee looked to Oliver as he spoke, nodding her head a bit, "That's all I am. He keeps saying I'm something called 'Eye Candy'..." The poor girl didn't even know what candy was. At his question she pressed her lips together, noticing he brought her to the refreshment table. "Nothing. He is either out and working or at home and ordering me to do things such as cleaning or cooking.." There were even times when he had tried to rape her, but Auralee never let him get close and she'd always fight back in whatever way she could.

"I'm sure he's somewhere talking to his friends.." She looked around before noticing him leaning on a wall with a good amount of people circled around him. She cringed a little bit and pointed to him quickly, "That's him.." She whispered softly.

Oliver frowned a little bit more. "Eye candy is drawing attention to someone because their attractive. Kinda like if your a slut, then you people say your eye candy. Get it?" He listened while she talked. "It's not fair. You deserve much better." He was shocked at what a terrible person he was. For all her knew, the guy could have raped her, but that wasn't his business to know.

When she pointed to him, he got a good look at him and squinted his eyes to see a little better, being a little far away. He was a decent looking guy, but he didn't look like am abuser. He looked like he was popular with the people, but then again, being out in public and at home was different.

As she heard what Oliver said, she gasped softly. Auralee couldn't believe it! She frowned deeply, nodding to show she got it. Auralee didn't want to be shown off like that. She pressed her lips together, looking to Oliver, "That is easier said.." She sighed deeply. As much as she wanted to get away, Auralee couldn't. He always found her, no matter where she ran. She looked to Oliver, pressing her lips together once again. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, she felt a harsh tugging on her hair and a slight kick that had poor Auralee on her knees. It was her master, he noticed she had been talking to the prince.

"I hope this little tramp hasn't been bothering you, your highness." He grunted, tugging at her hair once again while the girl let out a soft cry of pain. Regardless of where they were, if Auralee did something that was considered 'bad' she'd be punished then and there. And nobody seemed to care or try and stop him.

He looked at her while she gasped. "Yeah, I know. It's gross." It was horrible that some people didn't mean to be shown off, like her, but that others did it on purpose, just to get some action in the bedroom. He nodded when she said that. "Yeah it is." It was wrong that her master showed her off like that. Like a toy or a game. It was wrong, because he was tought that women were supposed to be treated right, and obviously he wasn't treating her like that. When she got on her knees, his eyes widened a little. He was just going to speak, when her master started to speak to him.

"Actually, no. I don't believe she is a tramp, and she hasn't been bothering me. She's a very interesting girl to talk to, and I enjoy it. Actually, if you don't mind, I would love to keep her for the rest of the night, and maybe even outside of the ball tonight." He knew a scene was starting, because people were starting to stop and stare. He looked at her, and then at her master, not happy about what he was doing and how he treated her in public. If he treated her like this here, he could only imagine what he did when they were at home in private.

Auralee frowned deeply as her master's grip tightened on her hair. She was shaking softly, looking down at the ground. She knew something bad was going to happen! He was tugging hard enough to make those suppressed tears flow down her pale cheeks. It didn't help that Auralee was tender headed, but to be pulling that hard made it worse. She looked up to Oliver, pressing her lips together.

As he spoke, she blinked a little bit. He..Was standing up for her. The Prince! She didn't want to glance up, she knew her master wasn't happy about that. "No, no, your highness, you don't want her. She's a good for nothing." He pulled Auralee up, this time bringing her flush against his chest, "Besides, she's my toy. I'd be torn to know she'd be taken away." He looked down at her, and then to the prince. She shook her head in protest, frowning.

Oliver looked at her, as her master gripped her hair tighter. And as she started to shake, and cry, he wanted to do something, but what could he do? When she looked up at him, he didn't know what to do, but he had to help her in some way.

"I beg your pardon. She's a charming young women, and she's very interesting." Of course he was going to stand up for her, because everybody, even the half vampire and humans, were to be given a chance, at least he believed. "I'm sure you wouldn't mind me dancing with her only tonight. It's not often I meet someone with her charm and wits." He said, with a smile.

Auralee could only bite her lip as the grip on her hair grew tighter. She wanted to get away from this man, and she hoped it would be soon. Once she heard Oliver speak, she gasped a little. He was.. Standing up for her. She shook a little more, hoping her master would let go. "Oh, I don't think that will-"

Auralee was in enough pain, she squinted her eyes shut, "Please let me go!" She exclaimed, the tears only flowed down her cheeks more. With a movement of his arm, the man threw her back, making her hit against the refreshment table rather harshly. Pain stung through Auralee's body, and the contact made her quite dizzy, considering she also banged her head against the table. "You want her so badly? You'll have to go through me." The man insisted.

Oliver was trying to help as much as possible to help get her away from him. But he didn't just want to grab her arm and snatch her away from him. That was a bad idea, because A) She was already in enough pain and B) It was just a bad idea. So he decided to talk his way through handing her over.

He heard her outburst, and he knew she shouldn't have done that. And of course, after she did, she was slammed up agenst the table. He knew people were watching, and he looked at his parents, who were talking to the guards. He mouthed to them not to."Are you challenging me?" That was a bad idea. Plus, there was no way this guy would lose to Oliver. He was much stronger. "I don't think that is such a good idea." He said, honestly.

Auralee's breathing grew heavy before her nose was filled with a familiar scent: Her blood. Looks like she got a nasty gash on the back of her head from the contact with the table. She felt even dizzier now that the blood was dripping. She looked to the two males, noticing her master had challenged Oliver. She bit her trembling lip, breathing heavily.

"I believe I am challenging you." The man had his arms folded against his chest. He was cocky enough to actually believe he could take down the Prince. "Well, I do."

Oliver smelled something. Something sweet. It made his mouth water and his fangs enlarge. He looked at Aurelee's head and saw blood trickling down. Of course, he knew how to control himself, and these were one of those times. He saw her look at them and looked at her, then at her master, who was challenging him. What a stupid idiot.

"You really want to challenge me? Of course, you do know that once I beat you, I'm going to have to throw you out and the girl stays, right?" He said with a smart-ass tone. He looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "I can't believe your doing this." He said. he knew the man would lose, but might as well have a little fun, right?

Feeling..So..Dizzy.. Auralee felt terrible, she wanted to lay her head down and fall asleep, but she was sure it could be fatal if she passed out and lost too much blood. Please, Oliver...D-Don't do it.. Her breathing was slowing down and yet people were only watching, some laughing at how pathetic she looked. Auralee felt so disgusted, but she was too hurt to say anything or even make an unhappy facial expression. She tried getting up onto her feet, stumbling quite a lot of times. Once she got up on her feet she had to use the table as a slight 'crutch' until her legs stopped wobbling significantly.

"I do. And you mean once I beat you, right?" He smirked, not appreciating the smart ass tone. He walked forward to Oliver, narrowing his eyebrows, "I can. I fight for my property." And he was serious about it, too. Too bad his cockiness always got to him.

He looked at her to make sure she was ok, then looked at the guard, motioning to get a chair for her. As they went off to go and get a chair, he looked back at the man and raised an eyebrow, and smirked. "Your win? Well, I don't mean to brag or sound like I'm into myself, but I am very certain I will win, so you might as well not even try and be escorted out from the party. But if you want a little entertainment, then a little entertainment you shall get." He watched him walk forward to him.

"Your on my property, so now, your both mine." He said. Even though it wasn't true, he didn't own them, a person, no matter what or who they are, shouldn't be called 'property'. Ever.

Auralee tried to watch, eyes half lidded. The voices all around her sounded like garbled messes. She felt a giant migraine coming on, breathing slowly. She soon noticed someone had brought a chair for her. She smiled, weakly and the best she could, but it was still a smile, and sat herself down. But even when down, she was wobbling.

"Are we now?" he hissed, eyes narrowed even more." Soon enough he was right in front of Oliver. A smirk was on his lips and he immediately flung a fist toward the other male's face.

He watched as she sat down, and then turned his attention back at the male. He watched as he smirked and got close to his face, knowing what to except. As soon as the first punch was thrown, Oliver grabbed his fist. "Quick, aren't we?" He said with another smartass smug tone. He twisted his hand around and flung him on the floor.

"How long do you wish to go on with this?" he asked, curious, looking at the man smugly.

The man gasped a bit, though once he was on the floor he managed to get back up on his feet. No way he was going to be taken for a fool, "As long as I can possibly stand up and punch." This time he threw a kick, growling angrily. He had a smug look on his face. He just wanted to slap it off completely. This time he brought his leg up in an attempt to kick Oliver.

Oliver sighed. "I'm wasting time. And your waiting time. What a shame." He said, grabbing his ankle and flipping him back on the floor, looking at the time. Oliver kicked his side and looked at him blankly. "I really think you should give up while you still have your pride. And balls." He said, once again, smugly.

At Oliver's words, the man raised an eyebrow, "I don't think I'm wasting time at all." Once his ankle was grabbed, he tried his best to get out of the hold but was soon enough on the floor again. He growled angrily, "RR! Fine, you want her? Take her! She's worthless, anyway." he spat angrily.

"Wow. Giving up so easily? What can I say though? Your weak. Boys, take him out please." He looked at his guards who grabbed the man by the arms, picked him up and lead him outside, where he was taken out of the party. "Everyone, please go back to the party and enjoy yourselves. There is nothing to see here." He said, turning his attention to Auralee. "Are you ok?" He asked, kneels down beside her.

"I am the weak one? I'd prefer noble, I'm not the one dragging on a fight for a thing that isn't even worth it." Even when Auralee couldn't hear it completely, she heard the harsh word and cringed in her little spot. She watched as best as she could as the man was dragged out of the party. She looked to Oliver, seeing he was now in front of her. "I-I..." She murmured softly, trying to get to her feet and prove that she was alright. Her breaths were heavy and she could hear chatter, mainly angry chatter, floating around.
